How do I use ScanSharp with Centricity?

The following instructions assumes that you have setup ScanSharp and it is running. The usual configuration settings we recommend for ScanSharp to work with Centricity PM is scanning at 150 dpi, and saving in JPEG format into a directory of your choice. We also recommend using the fixed filename option so the existing file gets overwritten as you do new scans.

1. Scan a insurance card. If you have a simplex scanner, please ensure that you scan the card twice (face down) to obtain both sides of the image.

2. Open an existing patient record from the Centricity PM.

3. Click on the "Attachment" button on the top-left corner just below "File" 3. The "Attachment" window should pop up. Click on the "Import" button.

4. A small "Import Attachment" window should appear. Click the button with 3 dots. Browse to the directory where you have saved the insurance card image and select the image you wish to import.
